Compare your purchase price with the current median asking price of comparable listings. This is a snapshot of advertised prices, not a valuation of your individual bag or a realized return. Listings update through scheduled source checks.
How it works
We compare your purchase price with a snapshot of current asking prices. It does not establish what your bag would sell for or how its value changed during your ownership.
- Cohort median. Median of positive asking prices for matching size and leather; falls back to size-only listings if necessary. With six or more observations, extreme prices are trimmed at each end.
- Asking-price gap. The current cohort median minus your purchase price, expressed in dollars and as a percentage.
- Comparable listings. Up to six currently indexed listings to compare on condition, accessories, and total purchase cost.
Asking prices are not completed sale prices or net proceeds. For observed changes over time, review our same-listing asking-price index; it does not measure realized returns either.
