How is the estimate calculated?
We calculate the median and middle 50% of current USD asks. We match model, size, leather and hardware, then broaden the comparison if there are fewer than eight listings: first remove hardware, then use a leather family, then model and size only. With fewer than three, we show no price.
Are asks the same as sale prices?
No. They are what sellers advertise. We show comparable auction results separately only with at least five results including buyer’s premium, and give their dates. A dealer’s offer or a seller’s proceeds may be lower after fees.
Why doesn’t condition change the number?
We do not have enough consistent condition data for a reliable adjustment. Your selection changes the guidance, not the numbers. Wear, repairs, accessories and the individual buyer still matter.
